The Path Patrol Volunteers are engaged on monthly activities, replacing stiles with kissing gates, clearing vegetation, installing bridges made of sleepers – thanks go to Hampshire County Council’s Jonathan Tinkler who organises these work parties; helped by among others, Basram members Tony Stoner and John Wood.
This work usually takes place on the 2nd Thursday of every month and benefits all those who enjoy the Hampshire countryside, including, of course, Basingstoke Ramblers.
If you feel that you could help in some way, please contact Jonathan Tinkler at [email protected].
If you come across any footpath problems please email me the information and a photo, or a grid reference is best: [email protected]
If you find a footpath with a closure notice, for whatever reason, you can check it online at https://www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices and follow the links.
