60 Years of Basram!!!

In 2025 we celebrated our 60th Year Anniversary – 1965-2025

Throughout 2025 we organised a series of events to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Basingstoke Ramblers Club. Here are some of  the reports and pictures of them on this page. [To view these pages click on the Links in blue.]

The first of these was the occasion of the official presentation to the town of a Commemorative Bench which took place on Saturday 14th June 2025. It can be found sited in Eastrop Park at the far end of the lake, just outside the Children’s Playground and, appropriately, facing the Town Centre. Here you can find a copy of the report from the Basingstoke Gazette.

The week after our chairman, Jeanne Hiscock was invited to share about Basingstoke Ramblers on ThatsTV Hampshire News.

Also, The Basingstoke Discovery Centre [Central Library] agreed that we could put up a Basram 60th Anniversary Table Display with memorabilia and some history of the Club, from 23rd June to 4th July.
